forget的后面既可以接不定式（to?do），也可以接動詞的-ing形式，但是表達(dá)的意思不同。forget?to?do?something表示“忘記了做某事”，事情還沒有做。forget?doing?something表示“忘記曾經(jīng)做過某事”，事情已經(jīng)做過了。

forget to do sth與forget doing sth的區(qū)別只有一個：

1、forget to do sth 意思是“忘記要去做某事”，指的是這件事情本來要做，但是忘記了而沒有去做。例如：

I forgot to close the windows this morning. 今天早上，我忘記關(guān)窗戶了。（窗戶沒關(guān)）

He forgot to turn off the lights when he left the classroom. 他離開教室的時候，忘記了關(guān)燈。（燈沒有關(guān)）

2、forget doing sth意思是“忘記做了某事”，指的是這件事情本來做了，但是忘記了而以為沒做。例如：

I forgot paying for this book. 我忘了已經(jīng)付過這本書的錢。（之前已經(jīng)付過錢了）

She forgot locking the door. 她忘了已鎖了門。（門之前已經(jīng)上鎖了）
